Shante You Stay, Sashay Away - RuPaul's 4th Annual DragCon Dazzles and Glitters with Positivity

Sashay Shante! RuPauls 4th Annual DragCon took place over the weekend at the Los Angeles convention! The room was overflowing with fierce attitudes and total style inspiration and not to mention tons of personality.
“All the young people today will get to witness what it means to be the architect of your own path," RuPaul shared as part of the kick-off to the weekend. The message spread the tone for the three-day coveted event spreads body positivity amongst other powerful messages all surrounded by your favorite stars, queens, and notable names. "All the queens here represent the American spirit of being an entrepreneur and following your dream - no matter what anyone else has to say about it.” RuPaul was surrounded by other queens, Trixie Mattel, Manila Luzon, Mayhem Miller, and Kennedy Davenport stood alongside the drag icon.

As the event was underway guests entered with excitement as to what was in store for the remaining of events. It was All Stars 3 winner Trixie Mattel's performance that really took the cake! Mattel made quite the entrance as she rode in on a Mattel Barbie Dream car before taking the stage. “We’re here to celebrate all different types of drag," Mattel stated. However, bitch, I hate getting in drag -- and that’s what inspired this song.”

The queen wowed in her performance donning what would be similar to a Dolly Parton piece. Mattel worked the stage while performing her hit singles "Little Sister" and "Moving Parts" from her latest album One Stone. Mattel is currently on her North America tour called Now With Moving Parts through the end of July.
