Los Angeles folk/pop trio The Furious Seasons entitled "Look West" is set to be released October 7th! Composed of: David Steinhart, Jeff Steinhart, and Paul Look West is giving fans something to 'look forward' to!
A few favorites on the album are "Longshot." Longshot has a sense of 'home' to me. The single seems effortless and provides a sense of innocence. The opening of the single is what wins me over. "I'm not done yet, not by a longshot. There is still time to work through the soft spots," are just a few of the key hitting lines of the overall meaning to this single.
"A Thing To Behold," "What's Coming Next," "Sadly Matched," are just a few of their strong singles on this album. One thing that I appreciate about The Furious Seasons is how they let the listeners listen to the actual music first and foremost. Most of their singles have long interludes and just let listeners get lost in the instrumentals before flooding the gates with their lyrics. It's almost two fold and something that few artists today take advantage of. The album is the band's 5th and is a warm and personal set, highlighting two part harmonies and Paul Nelson's agile guitar playing. The album is slated for an Oct 7th release.
