The Heated Room provides the ultimate workout experience using its state-of-the-art infrared heating system. It is our mission to deliver you structured classes that focus on your core, strength, and alignment with the help of world class trained instructors.
We got the chance to speak with the owner of The Heated Room, Raamy Fares, on how the workout, the instagrammable space, and more.
Identify LA: How is The Heated Room different from your average pilates studio?
Raamy Fares: Heated Room is so much more than a Pilates studio. We offer two styles of classes: Heated mat classes (mat pilates (core sculpt), yoga (Flow), as well as a hiit/pilates class that we call full body burn) and private reformer classes. Our heated classes are designed around traditional pilates principles to improve balance, control, stability, and flexibility while lowering the risk of strain or injury. We also offer private reformer sessions with state-of-the-art Merrithew V2 Max Plus Reformers.
Music selection is curated and is part of the experience. We are also very proud of our sound system from Void Acoustics It delivers incredible sound quality and power all over the space.

IDLA: How does heat create a more intense workout?
Heat speeds up your heart rate intensifies the workout and makes it more challenging. It also ensures that you warm your body faster

IDLA: What went into creating the space and how did you know how you wanted to design the studio?
RF: I worked very closely on every detail of the design (64 North) and construction (Delane Engineering) process. Wil Carson (design director of 64North) had the idea of incorporating our heated panels into a ceiling structure. After many meetings and discussions, they understood my vision and made it come to life in the most beautiful way. Our heat comes from the ceiling, and the ceiling was the most difficult challenge to accomplish in the construction and permit process of Heated Room.
IDLA: Knowing that LA is fully open at the moment, are there covid protocols in place to ensure safety of guests at the studio (in and out of the class).
RF: We make sure to follow the health department guidelines, and our studio and equipment are constantly being cleaned and disinfected.
