Free the Nip, You Might Find the Perfect Lip Shade
There is an old myth that to find the perfect nude lip color you have to match the lip stick to the color of your nipples. Well Thursday August 15th at the World of Fruit hosted a delicious interactive experience. Guest walked through giant fruit jungles, disco rooms with spinning pineapples and a big watermelon swing and playset that will have all your friends green with envy. The event also let visitors sample exiotic selections of fruits like Jackfruit and Lychees. Amaze Bowls also offered 3 selections of Acai bowls to give everyone something sweet to snack on, all while finding the right lip shade for them by NipLips.
NipLips was founded by Renae Moomjian after working in the male dominated environment of medical device technology. She felt like she was the only one in the boardroom and as a woman it was harder to be heard. She shares that the idea of Nip Lips came to her last year, after driving her daughter home from school. Her daughter asked “hey mom, did you know that your perfect lipstick shade is your nipple color?”. Once they got home Ranae and her daughter went home and tested out dozens of lipstick colors and even went to Walgreens and spent $110 on lipstick to test this theory. After testing on a plethora of lip colors on each other, they both found the perfect match.
NipLips uses cutting edge artificial intelligence to harness the “power of nature” by using the color of your nipple to find your perfect nude lipstick color. Using the app is definitely an experience, by placing your nipple in the phone camera the app the app uploads the images and analyzes your skin tone and undertones to find what your perfect NipLips shade is. Then it gives you a chart of what colors in the collection would be the ideal lippie for you. Founder Renae shared that when she started testing 85% of women loved their first match, and 100% loved the second match the app suggests. With such Stellar feedback Renae was ready to share her product with the world. Moomjian stated that she started NipLips because this is about being “authentically you, and being powered to be authentically yourself”.
