BTS Make-Up Guide for Achieving Ella Mai's Red Carpet Look at the Grammy's
Ever wonder what goes into prepping for a big night such as the Grammys? Luckily we got the inside scoop from celebrity makeup artist Emily Cheng, who did the makeup for singer Ella Mai, on just went on to get the singer red carpet ready!
"Ella has these beautiful almond shaped eyes that I love accentuating," states Cheng. "With this gown I wanted to do a smokier eye but instead of a classic black I incorporated the red from the gown as the main hue."

FACE
Start by applying Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation in 340 using a beauty blender
With the pointed tip of the beauty blender, apply Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Concealer in shade 302 in order to get right under the eyes
Finish the face off, apply Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Powder Foundation in 310
For a slight contour of the hairline, apply Shiseido InnerGlow Cheek Powder in Cocoa Dusk for a flush of color
Lastly, tap Shiseido Aura Dew in Cosmic in the inner corner of the eye, the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and cupids bow for further dimension.
EYES
Start by creating a wing shaped just on the outer corner of the eye blending inward with Shiseido's Kajal InkArtist Shadow Liner in Adzuki Red - lightly buff out the outer edge of the lower lash-line
To further blend out the edges, buff over the color with Shiseido Kajal InkArtist Shadow Liner in Rose Pagoda
Define the eyes by smudging Shiseido MicroLiner Ink Eyeliner Black into the lash line
Using the Shiseido ArchLiner Ink, create a clean sharp wing
FInish the lash with Shiseido's Imperial Lash Lengthening Mascara Ink in Sumi Black, top and bottom. Doing 3 coats give a very lashy look
