LA Wine Fest 2018 - Bringing World Class Wines to DTLA
Despite the June gloom that has been looming over the LA skies the past few weeks, it was all sunshine and smiles at the LA Wine Fest! Taking place at the Row in DTLA the LA Wine Fest brought top wines, brews, and local foods to the heart of Los Angeles!
Wines from Riboli Family of San Antonio had an array of wines for attendees to try! With grapes grown in the pure wine region of California, how can you go wrong?! For over 100 years the winery has expanded its wine portfolio and sheds light on many respective wineries from around the world.
PB Importers took attendees to Hungary with its exceptional line up! Sustainable Hungarian Wines from the Szekszárd region took the spot light with its impressive wines. The quality and boldness of its red wines were unmatched. The 'layers' of flavors are also a key note that isn't easy matched. Complex yet simple, full bodied yet light the wines from PB Importers was definitely worth a try. It's also not every day you can try a unique blend of wine made specifically from the Hungarian grape of Szekszard, Kekfrankos.
Quigley Fine Wines invited guests to take a trip down the coast to San Diego for other worldly wines.
"Saucy Lips are sauces that are healthy, non-GMO, and vegan, it's for people that want to eat healthy and don't have time to cook. You just have to figure out what you want to put it on," says Saucy Lips Founder. "I started the company 12 years ago," she continues. "The flavors are inspired from my kids because they didn't like the veggies so I put it all in one bottle."
The Berlin Truck, Slammin' Sliders, Cousins Maine Lobster, and more were on site keeping everyone full of delicious food!
There were too many vendors on site to try, but it is worth a shot! From the magnificent wines such as: Joya Import, LOLA Wines, Lucky Dogg Winery, Obvious Wines to the savory beers such as: Peroni, Reel Brew Co., San Fernando Brewing Company and more in attendance. What better way to spend the day with friends wine and laughs!
The LA Wine Fest is a must do - there is so much fun for everyone! Now in its 13th year, the LAWineFest always delivers an event that balances fun, exploration and education.
