Once again Hollywood takes to the slopes to kick off the annual Sundance Film Festival! From January 24th- February 3rd Park City will be over run with filmmakers, actors, influencers and brands setting up the most amazing activations. Below is our list of top industry events during the first weekend of the festival!
Our Stories to Tell:
HBO, TNT and TBS will host Our Stories to Tell, a 3-day pop-up experience that will celebrate their commitment to multicultural storytelling, creators and audiences. This multi-day event will take place during the first weekend of Sundance beginning Friday, January 24 through Sunday, January 26th and will be located in the heart of Main Street in Park City, Utah. The event space will transform throughout the weekend to accommodate various invite-only, interactive programming that will empower and celebrate diverse voices and the creatives that bring the networks’ award-winning programming to life.
Kia Telluride Supper Suite:
POP-UP TO RETURN JANUARY 25-27th LED BY KIA MOTORS AND ITS AWARD WINNING SUV, THE ‘KIA TELLURIDE’.
The favorite daytime lounge and evening film events, Kia Telluride Supper Suite returns to Sundance with cuisine by Marbl Toronto and a style lounge featuring mou boots, ic! London eyewear, Laundry, Original Penguin and more. Throughout the weekend guests will enjoy drinks by Peroni, The Balvenie Scotch, Hendrick's Gin, Milagro Tequila, Reyka Vodka, and more as well as the Creative Coalition annual Spotlight Initiative Awards Dinner.
Wellhaus, Park City's First Health/Wellness and CBD Concept Returns to Park City:
WELLHAUS, the new health, wellness and CBD/cannabis-focused event platform from event industry veterans Axcess Entertainment, is pleased to announce its second activation during 2020’s Sundance/Slamdance film festivals in Park City, UT in conjunction with Presenting Sponsor Erba Verde Group. Located in the heart of historic Main St., WELLHAUS has partnered with three local venues to create a first-ever multi-location brand experience at the Festival: the Wellhaus Spa will take place at the PuraVida Spa at Sky & Main Hotel (201 Heber Street at Main); the Wellhouse Café at the Main Street Deli (525 Main Street) and the Wellhaus Lounge at the brand-new Old Town Cellars (OTC, 408 Main Street) from January 24th through 27th during the festivals’ kick-off weekend. The Wellhaus Spa will additionally operate unique health & wellness services for the duration of the festival week, through February 2nd.

When attending Sundance stopping by Debbie Durkins' Eco-Luxe Lounge is a no-brainer. It's the perfect hub to take a break in between films and grab a bite to eat and catch up on the latest products.
Acura Festival Village:
Friday, January 24–Saturday, February 1, noon–6:00 pm
For the tenth year, Acura is returning to Sundance Film Festival, as Presenting Sponsor to host the Acura Festival Village where festival goers will be able to partake in a variety of activations, including an interactive photobooth, take a seat in the Acura NSX supercar, and enjoy hot beverages, phone charging stations, Stella Artois beer and High West Distillery spirits in the Acura Lounge. Throughout the week, Acura will be hosting a mix of exclusive parties, panels and premieres.

Come join in on the fun with a performance by Matt Berninger from The National at Lateral at WarnerMedia Lodge: Elevating Storytelling with AT&T New for this year, Lateral at WarnerMedia Lodge: Elevating Storytelling with AT&T will debut as a new chic, underground hotspot adjacent to the main Lodge space, with live entertainment and late night programming.

Planned Parenthood’s 9TH Sundance Film Festival Reception – In Partnership with Refinery29

Adobe is returning to the festival as a Leadership Sponsor. Adobe is again partnering with Sundance Ignite, a program that identifies and supports new voices and talent from the next generation of filmmakers (ages 18-25). Adobe and Sundance celebrate the amazing work of the editing community and dedication to their craft at the annual Sundance Film Festival Art of Editing Reception, sponsored by Adobe. The Blackhouse Foundation:
Blackhouse will return to the Filmmaker Lodge with another slate of its history-making programs. In past years, featured guests have included Harry Belafonte, Ice-T, genre-shaping black women in film, and some of the leading minds behind television and film’s most significant projects. This represents yet another record and a beautiful trajectory from the seven programmed black films that accompanied our first year at Sundance in 2007. We couldn't be more excited about or proud of our community and the Sundance team.
