This weekend celebs will leave the warm and sunny 70 degree weather in LA and head to Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival, (SFF). Created by the great Robert Redford, SFF pays homage to artists, musicians, and more.
The festival has expanded since it's inception majorly! In addition to films guests can expect to enjoy intimate live music acts at the ASCAP café as well as various venues, pop up exhibits, many culinary experiences, as well seeing film productions and learning how it comes to fruition both in front and behind the lens with educational panels.
With Main Street being the major runway of the festival we have broken down and included a few pop-ups and brand immersions you do not want to miss.

Over the years IndieLounge has been nestled on Main Street and is known for providing an overall experience. This year proves to be no different, IndieLounge will have a slew of entertaining opportunities in addition to their gifting lounge guests will be able to see films, enjoy panels/receptions, as well as partake in the Getty Image portrait studio, formerly known as The Starving Artist Project, with celebrity photographer Michael Bezjian. AT&T is the official Multichannel Video Programming Distributor sponsor of the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and will be taking over the renowned Village at The Lift from Jan 20-22. AT&T will have 4 unique attractions showcasing DIRECTV in the Cabin, AUDIENCE in the Café, Jeff Vespa’s WireImage Studio presented by DIRECTV, and DIRECTV NOW.
Village at the Lift will offer guests an escape from the cold with seasonal beverages and light fare from notable Japanese restaurant Nobu. They will enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi and access to the DIRECTV app and content through tablets, phones, and TVs throughout the space.
This year’s festival offers AT&T more ways to grow its entertainment lineup. Tao Park City has always been known as the 'IT' spot when it comes to nightlife of Sundance Film Festival. The elite party caters to a select group of lucky festival goers and you can bet you will see your favorite celebrity inside letting loose.
The Pop Up finally made the bold move to get off of Main St., (where the pop up has been for YEARS) to The Yard. Although it's a bit further than anticipated the new location will provide a spacious venue at more than 100,000 square feet taking the nightlife to newer heights. “This year’s venue will be even more spacious to provide additional comfort for our guests,” says Partner and Co-founder of TAO Group Noah Tepperberg.
VIPs will also be treated to Don Julio 1942 bottle service, where they will get to enjoy the new larger than life Don Julio 1942 1.75 Liter bottle, which will be making an appearance for the weekend. Attendees will see DJ sets by Vice, Equal, Mel Debarge, Devin Lucien, DJ Ruckus, and Equal along with a couple of surprise performances.

Hospital executives will be on hand to provide information to our VIP guests. Shriners Hospitals for Children – Los Angeles serves over 1,600 patients each month from Southern California, Arizona, Southern Nevada, New Mexico, and Northern Mexico.

Guests will be able experience ASTEROIDS! one on one and learn about the techniques director Eric Darnell and his team are using to not only direct the viewer in this interactive VR experience, but also to elicit the viewers compassion for the other characters. ASTEROIDS! stars Elizabeth Banks as the voice of Cheez, a happy, fun-loving robot willing to do anything for his best friend, Mac. The viewer, plays a robot with a key role in helping Mac and Cheez as they experience the unexpected dangers of space bug and an asteroids field.
