Outer Banks Fans and Cast Members Celebrate Season 3 at Immersive Poguelandia Event
Woopity Woopity! What better way to kick off season 3 of Outer Banks than with an epic bash in “Poguelandia”? Poguelandia was a fan-fueled immersive music and fan event full of interactive experiences, unforgettable music performances, and cast surprises on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Huntington Beach. The event was produced by Netflix and guests were invited to experience the “Outer Banks” for themselves and partake in a few activities (minus finding the treasure) for a day in the life.
The Pogue-approved lineup alongside your favorite cast members, chow down at The Wreck, drink up (responsibly) at The Boneyard, take a moment with the Twinkie, and more. As the official apparel sponsor, American Eagle (AE) popped up at the Kildare Surf Shop with live custom printing of exclusive OBX designs on AE tees and hoodies, where guests can also shop the brand’s AE x OBX capsule collection which dropped on February 16th.
After noshing at The Wreck, guests enjoyed musical performances from Khalid, Lil Baby, alt-J, Elley Duhé, Surf Mesa, and more. A few Outer Banks favorites were in attendance as well.
Additional appearances included Shubham Goel from Netflix’s The Circle, and the casts of Netflix shows That ’90s Show and Freeridge. “OBX” creators and executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke were also in attendance.
“Seeing Poguelandia come to life was nothing short of spectacular,” said co-creators, showrunners and executive producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate and Shannon Burke. “The Pogues are enjoying an adventure of a lifetime, and we now get to map out more twists and turns as the joyride continues into season four of Outer Banks. Thank you to Netflix, our cast, and the amazing fans who helped to make this happen.”
Cast members Chase Stokes (John B.), Madelyn Cline (Sarah), Madison Bailey (Kiara), Jonathan Daviss (Pope), Carlacia Grant (Cleo), Rudy Pankow (JJ), Austin North (Topper), and Drew Starkey (Rafe) surprised fans by announcing that Outer Banks Season 4 has received the green light.
Season 3 premieres in full Feb 23 only on Netflix! Until then, we’ll catch you at The Boneyard!
