Country Trio Runaway June Parties with Duke Spirits While on Tour with Carrie Underwood
There's nothing better than a smooth glass of bourbon whiskey (one block of ice, not two!) When Duke's Whiskey invited me to an exclusive tasting with country trio, Runaway June, I HAD to join in!

Currently the trio, comprised of, Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne, is part of Carrie Underwoods, Cry Pretty Tour, along with Maddie & Tae! The tour is a refreshing all-women tour that beams with talent! Although going on tour with such a powerhouse must be nothing short of amazing, the real party was backstage with Runaway June and Duke's Spirits!

Runaway June has also been named as a brand ambassador for the bourbon and are able to honor Jennifer’s grandfather throughout the tour. Chris Radomski, one of the creators of Duke Spirits exclusively told Life & Style, that these “Modern Day Dukes” are people who “embody the great characteristics, integrity, loyalty, humility and, of course, incredible talent” of The Cowboys star! Another unique fact is there are also a few reserve bottles, of his favorite blends, dating back to 1962 that include handwritten notes from the True Grit star himself. Now, you can drink like the Duke, too!
“We try to really bring together what I call the masters of flavor from different genres, or different fields, and work together to try and elevate the bourbon experience,” Chris divulged.
The Style of Duke Bourbon was inspired by bottles from John Wayne’s personal whiskey collection, preserved for over 50 years and only recently discovered. Meticulously blended to reflect The Duke’s preferred whiskey flavor profile from tasting notes left behind during the time he was planning his own distillery.

Distilled the old-fashioned way; hand crafted in small batches and aged in new hand built heavily charred American Oak barrels. A selection of 5 to 10 year old whiskeys are chosen barrel by barrel and blended by hand before the Duke Bourbon reaches the bottle, and ultimately, you.
