Lions, and tigers, and bears - OH MY! This time of year going to the zoo you will get a lot more than you bargain for!

In honor of Halloween, the Los Angeles Zoo has turned the entire zoo into a "spooktacular" event! Sponsored by 99 Cents Stores families and children of all ages are invited to enjoy "Boo at the Zoo", which has now expanded the entire month of October! This year they have taken it up a notch and offer many more decorations, sightings, and many more interactive activities for all to enjoy!

In addition to animals such as Elephants from Asia, Australian Kangaroos and Koalas, and Indian Rhinos guests are in for a treat! To start they have added daily activities such as: spooky caves spotlighting animals' "super" natural senses, creepy face paintings, a spooky family portrait station, "Professor Johnson, Organ Donor's Haunted Halloween Musical Review", "Dress Up With Campfire Cat", and more. To heighten your senses and experience, some of the caves have special effects such as animal and critter shadows moving around to eerie music as guests wander throughout.
