Summer is right around the corner and that means it's time to step up the frame game! Warby Parker, the chic glasses and sunglasses line, kicks off the high temps with a brand new location in the 'city of angels.' Opening this Saturday, the 4th location will be held on Melrose Ave., and gives the people just what they want - an experience.
The Warby Parker recently celebrated the grand opening of it's fourth location! Located on Melrose Ave., the opening party boasted a green-screen space that is tucked away from the rest of the space, where customers can record their own 15-second videos against a bunch of otherworldly, all-original backgrounds!

"We've finally realized our dream in opening a venue of green-screen shenanigans," says co-founder and co-CEO Neil Blumenthal. "Where better to do it than Melrose? Where it may not result in a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, we couldn't be more excited to expand our presence in LA. "
With a city full of so much history, its no wonder that this store pays homage to Hollywood and the big screen. Guests will be greeted by a movie-theater-style marquee sign with regularly rotating titles. Behind the marble Reference Desk inside, look out for classic clapboards bearing more of these imaginary titles. Inside, you’ll find a colorful original mural by L.A. artist Alia Penner— who also produced a couple of original backdrops for the green screen. The mural’s bright hues and bold shapes, collaged over a black-and-white cityscape, add to the cinematic mood of the space.. This location marks the 4th in the LA area, and their eighth location in California! Currently their LA stores span from The Standard, Hollywood (the first) to the Arts District and in Venice.
