Let’s raise a glass to one of the best holidays around -- National Prosecco Day! The international celebration once again returns on August 13th. Perfect as an apéritif, served chilled on a sunny day or with nibbles as party food Prosecco has become an international favorite for fans of sparkling wines. What better way to celebrate the occasion than with a round-up of Prosecco? Raise your glass, not only to the weekend, but to National Prosecco Day

Mionetto Prosecco Rosé DOC ($15):

This is one of the first Prosecco Rosés to hit the US market and available nationwide. Incredibly unique, the new Prosecco Rosé uses a new blend of Glera (the Prosecco grape) and Pinot Nero. The Glera offers lightness and elegance along with minerality and citrus flavors combined with the Pinot Nero body, which offers structure and flavors of cherries and strawberry- the perfect pairing for poolside drinks and summer grilling. Available on Amazon with 1-hour delivery, GoPuff with 30-minute delivery and Drizly.

Rosé All Day Prosecco Rosé:

The newest product from the Rosé All Day brand, this Prosecco Rosé is a D.O.C. designated wine produced in Veneto, Italy. Though Prosecco Rosé itself is not new, its designation as DOC, short for Denominazione di Origine Controllata (Controlled Designation of Origin) means that in order to call itself Prosecco Rosé it must come strictly from the Veneto region of Northeastern Italy. The pink-hued sparkling wine must also follow specific rules around production and sales, as well as pass various quality control checkpoints.

Rosé All Day’s Prosecco Rosé features a delicate pink color with persistent, creamy effervescence. Produced and imported by Biagio Cru Wines & Spirits, the libation is a blend of 90% Glera and 10% Pinot Noir grapes with pleasant notes of red fruits and an elegant and harmonious bouquet of white flowers.

Vera Wang PARTY:

Vera Wang PARTY, a premium prosecco made for celebrating life’s moments, big and small! Vera Wang's latest venture embodies the globally renowned Designer and Style Icon’s essence: bright, FUN and fashion-forward, and it is the must-have bottle for the summer.

Gancia Prosecco Rosé D.O.C:

Gancia is the wine house that first brought sparkling wine to Italy over 170 years ago. Just last year, Italy approved the creation and bottling of Prosecco Rosé as its own unique wine variety and it's finally here. As the name suggests, this combines two of the most popular styles of wine. Fresh and fragrant with floral and fruity notes, Gancia's Prosecco Rosé hits on several trends:

· It's low in alcohol with only 11% ABV.

· It's affordable at about $11.99 a bottle.

· It's the perfect fit for anyone who likes Rosé and/or Prosecco, and it's an unexpected offering for guests.

Whatever the case is we hope you enjoy this list and of course, drink responsibly!
