Spread Holiday Cheer With These 15 Festive Holiday Beverages

There’s nothing quite like the holidays!

Skip the Rudolph Rum Punch and Christmosas this year and opt for a few beverages that are sure to have your loved ones raving about your bartending skills. With the holidays around the corner a festive cocktail round-up is in order. Whether you’re a beginner or a full-on mixologist the below holiday cocktails are a must!

The Arctic Screwdriver:

Ingredients

1 ½ part Reyka Vodka

¾ part Amontillado sherry

2 parts fresh clementine juice

½ part lemon juice

½ part orgeat

2 dashes angostura bitters

2 parts Ginger ale (only for hot serve)

Preparation

Hot: Add all to a pan and heat gently until warmed through. Serve in a mug and garnish with rosemary

Cold: Shake hard and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a star anise.

NEFT Merry Citrus:

1.5 oz NEFT ultra-premium vodka

1 oz fresh clementine juice

.75 oz orange peel oleo sacrum

.5 oz spiced demerara syrup

2 dashes barrel aged whiskey bitters

Dehydrated cinnamon orange slice soaked in 151

Add all ingredients into mixing tin with ice and stir. Double strain into rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a dehydrated cinnamon orange slice soaked in 151 and set on fire.

Smokey Cider:

Ingredients:

1/2 can of Volley Spicy Ginger Spiked Seltzer

1 oz. Mezcal 

1 oz. thyme honey simple syrup

Directions: Top with apple cider. Garnish with cinnamon stick, thyme sprig, apple slice

Easy Beesy:

Ingredients: 

  • 1.5 oz Gin

  • 0.5 oz Lemon Juice

  • 0.5 oz Honey

  • 4 oz Q Ginger Beer

  • 1 Lavender or Thyme Sprig

Method:

  • Dissolve the honey in the lemon juice, add the gin and shake. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice and top with ginger beer.

2 oz Vera Wang PARTY

1 oz soda water

.25 Bianco Bitter Liqueur 

.5 oz lemon juice

.5 oz sage syrup (Boil sage with water for 15 minutes. Then add equal parts sugar to the mixture. Mix and let sit to cool)

1 oz pear juice

3-4 pieces of sage

Method: Combine all ingredients except for the soda water and prosecco in a shaker. Shake and strain into a flute. Top with a splash of soda water and 2 ounces of Vera Wang PARTY Prosecco. Finish with a fresh piece of sage.

Jiant's "Forbidden Fruit Punch":

  • 3 oz. Jungle Juice HardKombucha

  • 1 oz. rum

  • 1 oz. cranberry juice

  • ½ oz. fresh lemon juice

  • 1 pineapple leaf (optional, for garnish)

Method: Preparation Combine Jungle Juice, rum, cranberry juice, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake vigorously 30 seconds. Strain into a glass filled to the brim with crushed ice and garnish with a pineapple leaf, if desired.

Cranberry Spiced Toddy:

Ingredients:

2 oz Tequila Don Ramón Punta Diamante Reposado Tequila

1 oz Fresh lemon juice

¾ oz Spiced-cranberry agave syrup

3-4 oz Hot water

Instructions:

In a heat-tempered glass, combine tequila, lemon juice and spiced-cranberry syrup. Top with hot water and briefly stir to combine. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and whole star anise.

To craft the Spiced-Cranberry Agave Syrup:

Ingredients:

-1 cup Real cranberry juice (unsweetened)

-1 cup Agave nectar

-Cinnamon sticks

-Cloves

-Allspice

-Star anise

-Fresh ginger

Instructions:

Combine cranberry juice and agave nectar in a pan on the stove. Bring to a light simmer and stir until combined. Add in several cinnamon sticks, 4-5 whole star anise, ½ tablespoon of cloves, a pinch of crushed allspice and several slices of peeled, fresh ginger. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes then remove from heat. Once cooled, strain out the solids and funnel the syrup into a resealable container. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Recuerdo Lavender:

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Recuerdo Mezcal Joven

.75 oz lavender syrup (1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons lavender buds - heat everything together to a gentle boil and reduce to a simmer for 1-2 minutes while stirring. Pull off the heat and allow to sit 30-60 minutes to infuse the lavender. Cool and strain the lavender.)

.5 oz lime juice

1 oz cranberry juice

Mix all the ingredients in a shaker over ice, strain and serve in a couple glass and garnish with a lavender flower.

Milk n’ Cookies

Method

  • Shake Over Ice-Strain Into Rocks Glass

  • Over Ice-Garnish With Nutmeg Sprinkle

Ingredients

  • 2.5 oz Doughball Whiskey

  • 4 oz Hot Chocolate

  • .5 oz Milk

Ingredients

  • 2 Parts Vodka

Ingredients 

1 ½ ounces Copalli Cacao

½ ounce dry vermouth (Dolin is suggested)

½ ounce raspberry jam

½ ounce lemon juice

½ egg white

Fresh raspberries
Directions

Add all ingredients into shaker. Shake without ice first, then add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with 2 raspberries on a pick.

Ingredients

  • Waterloo Cranberry Sparkling Water

  • 1 oz apple cider

  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice

  • Freshly grated cinnamon

  • 1 cinnamon stick & 6 cranberries (garnish)

Instructions: In a mixing tin, add apple cider, lemon juice, and cinnamon syrup. Then add ice and shake well. Strain over fresh ice and top with Waterloo Cranberry Sparkling Water. Garnish with fresh cranberries, grated cinnamon, and cinnamon stick.
