Known as 'The First Taste of Summer', BottleRock Napa Valley has officially come to a close. The sold-out fourth installment attracted more than 120,000 attendees over the course of three days and brought world-renowned musicians, Michelin-starred chefs, vintners and brewers to the wine mecca of the country.
Of course BottleRock had a highly reputable lineup such as: Lenny Kravitz, Ziggy Marley, Atlas Genius, Florence + The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers , but they also delivered a stellar culinary lineup.
One major factor that sets BottleRock on a higher tier is the amazing food and beverage partners. In comparison to it's major 'competitors' on the West Coast alone such as: Coachella and OutsideLands BottleRock does not have your average 'food truck' at the festival--BottleRock brings the heat and brings Michelin-starred chefs to the forefront.
Navigating through the culinary aspects of the festival is no easy fete, however we have hand picked a few highlights and must-see food vendors from the weekend in BottleRock!
This year the favorite seemed to be Gerad's Paella, Heritage Eats, Bouchon Bakery, and of course Morimoto Napa! Gerard's Paella served a heaping plate of paella packed with spices, chicken, seafood, and Spanish flair! Heritage Eats took a unique and fun approach to what they were offering! Jamaican Jerk Chicken with spiced slaw as well as Cajun Spiced Fries with "Boom Sauce". Bouchon Bakery had a sleuth of goodies for your sweet tooth. Morimoto Napa gave guests a taste of what to expect from the actual restaurant which infuses Japenese with a Western twist.
Other notable bites include: 1313 Main, Jax Diner, Miminashi, Mustard's Grill, Tarla Grill, ZuZu, Goode & Gander, Bui Bistro and more. For the complete list, click HERE.
Being the presenting sponsor was Jam Cellars who of course were on site pouring wines, there were also many other notables on site. Guests truly got the chance to experience and indulge what Napa is known for, its wine. From Napa as well as other parts of the world wines, brew, and spirits on site were: Blackbird Vineyards, Del Dotto Vineyards, Etude, Hall & Walt Wines, Sterling Vineyards, Starmont Winery & Vineyards, Meiomi, Anchor Brewing, Blue Moon, Leinenkugel, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Reyka Vodka, Hendrick's Gin and many more.
Special thanks to the sponsors: Jam Cellars, Miner Family Winery, Coors Light,Lagunitas, Android Pay, Williams-Sonoma, Nordstrom, Uber, Lyft, Red Bull, Krave Jerky, Kind, Billboard, Westin Hotels & Resorts, Pandora, Spritzr, Camelbak, The Meritage Resort & Spa, and more.
The festival has creatively mastered its craft by continuing to raise the bar and giving attendees an 'experience'. “BottleRock Napa Valley fans have proven that this festival is a must-attend event,” said Dave Graham, CEO and co-founder of Latitude 38 Entertainment. “We felt it was appropriate and deserving that the fans were the first to find out about the return of the festival. They are the reason whyBottleRock has become what it is today.”
As you can see BottleRock had no shortage of decadent bites in comparison to its suitors. Hands down the festival delivered in all aspects: music, culinary, and beverages. Be sure to get your palette ready for next year as the dates have already been set! The fifth installation of BottleRock will be May 26-28th!
