Keeping true to their style thus far, Moon Taxi, releases their latest single, "Good As Gold," recently, which happens to be another 'feel good' single. The single keeps true to their previous single, "Two-High," in that it's just as catchy and difficult to not have on repeat.
Moon Taxi is composed of Trevor Terndrup (vocals, guitarist), Spencer Thomson (lead guitarist and producer), Wes Bailey (keyboardist), Tommy Putnam (bassist) and Tyler Ritter (drummer). It wasn't until the hit single, "Two High," was released that people truly started paying attention to stardom that was unfolding right before our eyes!
From garnishing buzz at festivals such as Governor's Ball, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, spectators have watched the continuous growth of the band and needless to say their time in the spotlight has been put to good use. Listeners, for once, have been able to resonate with a band they love on an entirely different level, and one that is not so common today. It's been an eye-opening and honest transformation from the imperfections to sheer genius displayed on stage -- Moon Taxi is relatable to their listeners and continue to push boundaries on stage.

This single, "Good As Gold," is pure gold to the ears and highlights upbeat horns and keys and is an overall good anthem that is sure to have you dancing right into the new year.
“Good as Gold is a song about empowerment. It’s about reaching that moment, that place where all your hard work pays off," states Bailey. "It’s no coincidence that we wrote it as the Nashville Predators were fighting for the Stanley Cup last season. Team colors inspired the lyric for sure.”
