Starting October 31st guests will be able to take non stop flights from Los Angeles to Costa Rica. "Costa Rica has been on our radar for a number of years. Many things factor in to the timing of starting a new market, including whether we have aircraft to dedicate to a route," states Bobbie Egan, Director of Media Relations. "We’re thrilled that a variety of factors lined up to offer our West Coast customers an early morning flight from Los Angeles that will allow them to enjoy the late afternoon and sunset of one of the most beautiful countries in the Western Hemisphere."
Operated on a fuel-effiecient next generation Boeing 737-700 and 800 aircraft, guests are guaranteed to have a lovely flight experience with Alaska Airlines. Flights using the 737-800 feature Alaska Beyond Entertainment which includes free video shorts from partners such as National Georgraphic as well as the option to purchase movies and TV shows. Charging ports are also at every seat so guests can charge smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
