Sycamore Tavern - Your New Favorite Local Bar
Anyone that lives in Hollywood knows there isn't a shortage of nightlife in the city. A childhood favorite show of mine was the hit classic, 'Cheers.' The fact that you could find a neighborhood bar where 'everyone knows your name,' and an overall bar that just 'gets you.' For me, that is something that resonated. Sycamore Tavern is just that - your local bar in Hollywood.
From Happy to Serve You Hospitality Group, Sycamore Tavern is the group’s newest welcome addition to Hollywood and is a local neighborhood destination offering playful takes on traditional American fare paired with craft beer and cocktails amid a casual Hollywood atmosphere. The menu caters a variety of options that are sure to please everyone!
“Sycamore Tavern is a place we’ve envisioned for everyone,” says partner Sal Aurora. “In an increasingly exclusive town, our purpose is to bring people together in the neighborhood and give them an opportunity to experience the food that has nourished the success of our beloved restaurants.”
“Sycamore Tavern marks a new era for us, but the history of its location will be etched in the neighborhood’s memories forever,” says partner Mario Guddemi. “Since our early days in Hollywood, we have expanded throughout Los Angeles, but have returned to serve the community that gave us our beginnings.”
Formally known as Happy Endings, the bar had a mantra of being a fun, 'no-frills', bar that was great to pop in for your weekend Football games. It was simple, clean- cut, and got the job done. In the words of Hollywood, the staple has received a facelift - it has been revamped and updated to heighten the experience of its attendees.
Currently they are raising the meter and standards when it comes to nightlife. Whether it's happy hour after work or simply a night on the town, Sycamore Tavern needs to be on your radar.
Sycamore Tavern is located at 7038 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 and is open Monday – Friday from 4 p.m. – 2 a.m., Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. (8 a.m. for select games).
