If you weren't aware, everything is bigger and better in Texas! Super bowl 51, held in Houston, Texas, has everyone talking. From the gut-wrenching game to the killer halftime show to the parties held around town, we've got it all covered! Super bowl 51 made a few world records and is one for the books. However, it's more than just the game that happened over the weekend! Pop-ups, brand installations, ground-breaking parties, and more took over Houston and we've compiled a list of the top events in preparation for the big game!
Ludacris and Hublot Celebrate Chaka Zulu’s Birthday with Haute Living Magazine:
Haute Living Magazine partnering with Hublot, LOUIS XIII and Rolls-Royce in Houston on Saturday for a pre-Super Bowl dinner celebrating music executive Chaka Zulu’s birthday at a private estate in Houston.
Bootsy Bellows:Big Game Pop Up:
The h.wood Group's Bootsy Bellows Big Game Pop Up, hosted by G-Eazy, at VRSI nightclub, in Houston, TX. With a performance by G-Eazy, how could you go wrong? Although limited he performed a few of his hits like: 'My House' & 'Me, Myself & I' & 'Mean It.' The pop-up garnished the attention of many A-listers and pro-athletes such as: Chris Evans, Jon Hamm, Tony Romo, Chase Crawford, Diplo, Fergie, Lil Bow Wow, Floyd Mayweather, Ric Flair, Mia Moretti, along with many others. For the 4th year , John Terzian & Brian Toll brought their hot LA nightclub experience to the Super Bowl weekend taking over the VSRI, where their loyal friends and celebs felt home and welcome at the exclusive invite only party.
MAXIM Super Bowl Party 2017:
Presented by Thomas J. Henry and produced by Karma International the Maxim Super Bowl Party 2017at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugarland, Texas. The location, major key alert – a state-of-the-art, brand-new facility in the greater Houston area, which accommodated over 4,500 tastemakers and VIP’s. The exclusive affair had an outstanding talent line up, featuring hip hop recording artist Travis Scott, DNCE, a deejay set by DJ Khaled, strolling performers, aerialists and more! As with many Karma International events the key components art, fashion, music were in full effect. There were many interactive areas such as: live artistic vignettes, theatrical lighting mixed with concert level sound made for a one-of-a-kind experience.
Table buyers and celebrities had beautiful, spacious, all-inclusive suites and tables on risen platforms overlooking the decadent and exclusive affair. We had many great activations and interactive areas including the Monster Energy FMX Motorcycle Show and the Monster Energy Lounge with energy drinks that kept attendees hyped throughout the course of the entertaining affair. Inspired by the big game weekend, MAXIM featured the “2017 MAXIM Party ARt Exhibit” experience powered by Aireal, where the art exhibit displayed mixed-medium, 3D painted art where users were able to interact with the 2017 MAXIM Party ARt Exhibit mobile app through their mobile device. Fashion vignettes were elegantly presented by Lyndon London & Danny Nguyen Couture.
Guests enjoyed drinks provided by: Bud Light, Absolut Elyx, Tequila Avion, GH Mumm, and Perrier Jouet. Guests were also able to nosh on Max's Wine Dive, while indulging in delightful deserts provided by Sprinkles Cupcakes, macarons by Patisse, and Frost 321 Spiked Ice Cream. Zippo also had their “Zippo Car” on-site so partygoers could engage in fun and frisky photo opportunities. They created a custom one-of-a-kind MAXIM Party lighters that they gave away to select celebrities, influencers and VIPs. Further,
It was definitely an event infused with Vegas flare! The Jewel Nightclub from Aria Resort Las Vegas facilitated bringing Travis Scott to the MAXIM Party 2017 line-up to add to the over the top luxury nightlife style experience. Lastly, VIP’s came to and from the party in Cadillac’s finest vehicles while our silent auction added a charitable component to the event, where proceeds benefitted the Tree Media Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to educating the public on environmental issues. In support of Tree Media Foundation, New Orleans visual artist Randy Leo Frenchette, better known as “Frenchy”, painted live on-site where his captivating artwork was auctioned off. Again, proceeds from the silent auction ultimately benefitted the foundation.
Each event proves to be bigger and better than the previous! The Maxim Super Bowl Party 2017 was the party of the weekend!
FANATICS:
Being a weekend that was heavily influenced by sports, it's only right that FANATICS, was involved. The global leader for licensed sports merchandise, Fanatics, kicked off Super Bowl weekend with an exclusive invite-only party on Saturday, February 4. Held in the heart of Houston’s Theater District, The Ballroom at Bayou Place, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails with a breathtaking view of the Houston skyline.
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was in attendance as guests wished him luck, which CLEARLY worked, at the event! Guests were also treated to a performance by Flo Rida, who performed hits such as: “My House,” “Who Dat Girl,” and “In The Ayer.” Rapper Meek Mill stepped out for the first time since his split with Nicki Minaj! Surrounded by friends, the "All Eyes on You" rapper was in high spirits. Erin Andrews arrived hand-in-hand with fiancé Jarret Stoll. Other notable attendees included: Odell Beckham Jr., Shaquille O'Neal, Alyssa Milano, Todd Gurley, Julius Erving, Rod Woodson, Adrian Peterson, Mary Lou Retton, Jim Brown, and many more.
Super Bowl 51 was one for the books and will be one that is talked about for many years to come.
