Recently, Playboy revealed the September/October 2018 Issue with Teyana Taylor gracing the cover. The singer, model, dancer and entrepreneur takes center stage as she fearlessly directs her very first Playboy photo shoot. The multi-faceted mogul has been in the industry for quite some time. From starring in films at a young age to gracing the cover of the well-known publication. The starlett has added Playboy cover model to her extensive list of talents.

“Everybody knows, as far as the music side, it’s been a long journey for me—which it has been for any person who’s great in the industry,” Taylor tells Playboy. “I definitely feel overwhelmed sometimes because I’m doing so much to occupy my mind from the things that are not quite happening the way I want or need them to happen,” she says. “The other 100 things that I do are just until it comes to fruition.”

Taylor opened up and shared a glimpse into her life including her recent, and now canceled, tour with Jeremih. The Later That Night Tour kicked off on August 3rd with a few performances that lured people in, however due to Jeremih's "rude" behavior, Teyana has canceled her attendance for the remaining days of the tour.

“Don’t ever try to play me Petunia! They come to see me then 80% of the room leave after MY SET! work my ass off every city, every night!” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “You’ve done nothing this whole tour but act like a DIVA in ya princess chair.”

The split on the tour isn't the worst of news as the star has multiple tricks up her sleeve. After all she has worked alongside today's top mega-stars like: Beyonce and Jay-Z, Kanye West, and many more. She's even opened up a nail salon in her native Harlem, collaborating with brands, starring  in  the  Netflix  film  The  After  Party,  the  BET  series  Hit  the  Floor  and  the  movie  The  Trap. Not to mention her long overdue sophomore album K.T.S.E. (Keep That Same Energy), produced by Kanye West!

Making moves in such a "male-dominated" industry is her passion. After all, fearless, fierce and leadership are traits that come with ease when it comes to Teyana. Creating her platform and working towards her goal is not only commendable, it's a game-changer.

“I’m going to have self-respect. I’m going to be a strong woman all across the board whether you like it or not. Maybe that’s why it took me so long to get where I wanted to be. I was never willing to be what someone else wanted,” she told Playboy.  “Hey, if we don’t bust it wide open, there ain’t gonna be no you! So put some respect on that capital W in Woman. Wo-man.”

Playboy’s Sept/Oct 2018 issue is now available for download at WorldofPlayboy.com and hits newsstands nationwide by August 28, 2018.
