The city of Angels relocated to Palm Springs this weekend for an incredible weekend of music, friends turned family, and needless to say a memorable time and one for the books. Sure Coachella, a 3-day music festival in Indio, had the crowd hyped with incredible DJ sets, performances and surprise guests the real party was in Palm Springs. No ticket to the festival, no problem - a few brands came together to throw some mind-blowing invite-only bashes. Poolside, beverages, musical performances and more had attendees saying, 'Coachella Who'. The famous Neon Carnival struck it big again as the 'party of the weekend'. For its 7th year at Coachella it did not disappoint. The insider only party rose the bar this time around. Everyone engaged their inner child as they entered into Neon Carnival grounds. Favorite carnival games, and rides such as the classic 'Zipper' along with a newbie 'Tinder Match'. Guests let it all go at the door - Bolthouse style as DJ’s Kayper, Politik, Jesse Marco and DJ Ruckus performed late into the night in the California desert.

“Although this is only my seventh Neon Carnival, I consider this year a milestone as it marks my tenth anniversary of bringing the biggest events to the desert during festival weekend. That said, this event will be more spectacular than years past with sponsors The Levi’s Brand, RE/DONE | Levi’s, and Tequila Don Julio on board,” says Brent Bolthouse. “I’ve been very fortunate to have the success of Neon Carnival and I look forward to bringing this iconic experience back every year for partygoers to enjoy.”

Guests tried their luck at winning stuffed animals by playing their favorite carnival games, snacked on burgers and fries from Fatburger, and drinks by Don Julio tequila, Redbull, Perrier and Anheuser-Busch.
Creating a well crafted cocktails for a party of this magnitude can be challenging. Mixing ingredients that compliment each other yet leave an refreshing lasting impression is something that the masters behind Don Julio have under control. "For Neon Carnival we wanted to create cocktails that would be light tasting after a long day dancing in the desert, we used fresh ingredients like whole young coconut in the White Knuckle Margarita and Hibiscus Flowers and local Coachella Valley grapefruits in the Helter Skelter," stated Don Julio Tequila Mixologist, Ben Scorah. All the names for the drinks come from the old school fairground rides, hopefully the names evoke some cool memories of riding the Loop the Loop and The Helter Skelter!"

Celebrities were able to enjoy a very special 1942 edition of the Don Julio during Neon Carnival. "This will be the second year in a row that Tequila Don Julio is bringing an exclusive cocktail experience to what just might be the most talked about party of the year, Neon Carnival," exclaimed Rodolfo Aldana, Marketing Director of Tequila at Diageo. "We have so many great fans of the brand who attend and we look forward to serving up craft cocktails from our Airstream Speakeasy, that can supply perfect drinks for the enormous crowd of 5,000+ with ease, ensuring everyone has a well-made cocktail."

The Levi’s Brand, inventors of the blue jean, along with RE/DONE | Levi’s®, premium reconstructors of the iconic blue jean brand, curated an exclusive customization pop up shop on-site. Guests were able to pick out their favorite denim and add a personalized touch to it. From iconic products such as: the Trucker jacket, the RE/DONE | Levi’s® 501® jean short, to the limited edition branded RE/DONE | Levi’s® Neon Carnival T shirts. Expert tailors were on hand offering one-of-a-kind customizations including embroidery, chain stitching, monogramming & studding. Guests were also able to choose from unique and custom patches and pins to personalize their denim and make it their own.
