GSTQ Hosts its Launch Party at The Hollywood Palladium with a Screening of "In the Heights"

With the pandemic looming, events are slowly making its way back to Hollywood. Although many events are playing it safe and (thankfully) enforcing safety precautions, it's a nice step in terms of getting back to normalcy. Recently Hollywood Executive, Chairwoman, and Trailblazer Dany Garcia hosted an outdoor experience and drive-in movie screening of Warner Brothers’ soon-to-launch-film In The Heights where influencers, tv personalities, and celebrity stylists gathered to celebrate Dany’s new lifestyle brand, GSTQ.
The highly anticipated film, In the Heights, will premiere at Tribeca Film Festival on June 9th and on HBO Max on June 11th, however, guests of the evening were treated to a first look! Adapted from the Tony-winning stage musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda, 'In the Heights," is set in the Upper Manhattan neighborhood of Washington Heights and centers on a bodega owner named Usnavi (Anthony Ramos), who dreams about a better life. Corey Hawkins, Leslie Grace, Melissa Barrera, Olga Merediz, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Gregory Diaz IV, Stephanie Biatriz, Dascha Polanco Marc Anthony and Jimmy Smits also star. Chu directed from a screenplay by Quiara Alegría Hudes.

In true fashion, the film was done really well as it combats the current conversations many of us are having daily. Reflecting on this past year has made us all a bit more grateful, a smidge more hopeful, and looking at the world without rose colored glasses. Overall, the film is a hopeful story about community and could not have come at a better time.
Guests in attendance were treated to a customization station by The Griggs Brothers, Salt & Straw ice cream stand, ZOA Energy drink bar, and a crowd favorite – the Oscars 360 cam!
