ChefDance 2017 - Creating a Culinary Experience for a Good Cause
Over the years Sundance Film Festival has become more than films, it's an overall experience. Adding to the festivities is ChefDance, an exclusive dinner series that is an experience for all of your senses.
Hosted by Kenny Griswold and Mimi Kim, Chef Dance brings a different culinary experience every night. Friday, January 20th to Monday, January 23rd guests were able to dine on exquisite cuisine from chefs around the world. This year we had the pleasure to taste foods from: Chef Cat Cora (Fox’s My Kitchen Rules), Chef Shawn McClain (James Beard Award Recipient),Chef Brian Malarkey (Herringbone, San Diego), and Chef Edward Lee (610 Magnolia, Kentucky).
"The main purpose of ChefDance is to sit, relax, reconnect and savor the spectacular food, fine wine, and great company," explains Griswold. "Take a moment to lift your consciousness and enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of not only this event, but the entire Sundance Film Festival."
ChefDance is presented by Gifted Taste. Sponsors for the event include SYSCO, Four Daughters, Voss, Uber and Operation Smile. Guests braved the winter chill thanks to beanies provided by American Made Supply Co. Celebs in attendance of ChefDance included: Keanu Reeves, Parker Posey, Brody Jenner, DJ Paul Oakenfold, Julie Ormond, and more.
Entering as strangers but leaving as friends, ChefDance created an intimate place where we could all laugh and connect over a nice dinner. With the 2016 ChefDance roster being more robust than ever, ChefDance is more than good food - it's lasting memories.
