A performance by the Grammy-Award winning, Alabama Shakes, kicked-off Fleet Week New York festivities on Wednesday, May 24th. The band performed a riveting 90-minute set on the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum for sailors and their supporters at the second annual USO and Sailor Jerry Welcome Party.

Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum was created to honor the life and legacy of Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, a Navy Veteran who dedicated much of his life to tattooing sailors on their shore-leave in post-WWII Honolulu. Today, the rum the bears his name celebrates his legacy by honoring our serving military.
