Guests embarked on a multi-level journey in the mist of the Newport Beach Film Festival. Celebrity Cruises recently brought it's latest onboard cultural-culinary experience, "A Taste of Film" to the Newport Beach Film Festival.

Taking place at The Port Theater guests were able to enjoy the perfect Sunday afternoon by indulging in a unique experience -- delicious menu items created by Chef Pascal Olhats, wines from Jackson Family Wines, while watching the film, "A Hundred-Foot Journey".

The film stars award-winning actress Meryl Streep who plays a Michelin Star restaurant owner in Paris, France. Madame Mallory's Michelin-starred eatery is prestigious and well-known in town for serving delicate bites. With a carefully crafted menu and skilled chefs and servers to match this restaurant delivers an unparalleled experience. Her world is shaken up by the  Kadam family who leaves India for France. Their worlds are shaken up by a partnership that originally seems like a threat.

During the film guests were able to try culinary dishes from Chef Pascal of Le Jardine and Pascal Catering paired with Jackson Family Wines. 

A few menu items included: curried masala chicken with naan bread, baked breast of quail with truffle sauce and fine herb omelette, mushroom velouté with coriander and boeuf bourguignon with special spices and more. 

Known for its cuisine, wine and service, A Taste of Film launched on three ships for Celebrity Cruises: celebrity infinity, celebrity summit, and celebrity millennium in May 2016.
