Circle 8 Productions Launches Season 3 of "This is LA" series at Yamashiro, latest series debuts on KCBS April 21
Multi-hyphenate actor, producer, TV host, and philanthropist’ Robert Parks-Valletta took to legendary Hollywood haunt Yamashiro on a recent evening to launch his production company Circle 8 Productions’ flagship television show “This is LA,”which makes its third season debut on KCBS-TV Sunday, April 21 at 3PM PDT.
The “This is…” series, has six sister productions in San Francisco, Miami, London, Dallas, San Diego and London, and is in production for series in Dallas and Denver.
The younger brother of supermodel and actress Amber Valletta, Robert, formerly linked to Scheana Shay, took to the red carpet and the stage to introduce his new girlfriend, San Francisco model Heather Love Whiting. He made his presentation on the new season flanked by two Carnaval-costumed dancers.
Valletta was joined at the event, which previewed the new show, by show hosts Derrial Christon, Adam Kruger, Paige Lorentzen, Estrella Nouri, Lyssa Roberts and Antje Utgaard, among others, and just about every employee of Encino-based Circle 8 Productions, along with hundreds of industry well-wishers.
Several celebrities and actors joined the gang, including Jordan Christian Hearn (INHERENT VICE), influencer Brittany Lucio (STAN THE MAN), actor and boxer Derek Zugic (GUN) and others.
Guests feasted on made-to-order sushi hand rolls prepared with lightning speed by Sushi Studio Arts. “Baby Genius” founder Howard Balaban sampled his Perfectamundo Tequila (co-owned by superstar DJ producer Paul Oakenfold) with restaurateur and nightlife impresario Chris Breed (Roxbury). Guests had the choice of two photo-booths, an Avengers-themed lounge, a safe sex app demo, skin care demo and more to entertain themselves amid the throng. Ty Dolla $ign made his way past the party to a quiet table in the corner with a guest for dinner in the restaurant side of the historic mountaintop venue.
