Celebrating our feline friends was the 4th Annual Catdance Film Festival! Held at Cisero's on Main Street, the line to get into this 'meow-valous' event is a testament to the beauty of what we have come to love, Catdance!

Hosted by "New Girl" actress Hannah Simone, Catdance Film Festival presented by new Fresh Step with the power of Febreze. is a celebration of independent film starring sheltered cats. Animal activist and feline fanatic Simone shared her love and support of this event and love for her two cats, Jack and Frank, that she rescued from a shelter.

"I'm a huge cat lover, i've had cats my entire life and all of them were either adopted or rescued. The number 1 reason cats are returned to shelter is because of litter box rejection," states Simone. "(By using Fresh Step with the power of Febreze) you can help eliminate the odor and train the cats properly then they get to stay in loving homes verses being stuck in shelters where they are often euthanized. It is a great event that celebrates cats and getting them into loving homes."

This year the Catdance Film Festival showcased their virtual reality experience of seeing the world through the eyes of a cat. As part of the Fresh Step Million Meow Mission, this heart-warming experience may help more shelter cats find forever homes. If the world could see how much adoption means from a cat’s point of view, shelters would be empty. "Given the launch of our biggest litter innovation, Fresh Step with the power of Febreze, we really wanted to kick it up a notch at the Catdance Film Festival and offer fans something new and different," said Nick Meyer, Fresh Step Director of Marketing, Pet Products. "This year we decided to make a splash by rolling out a touching virtual reality experience that gives people a chance to see adoption throughout the eyes of a cat."
