Recently Redbull Studios in Los Angeles held a listening party that merged media, tastemakers, collaborators, artists under one roof. The creme de la creme of listening events delivered a very satisfactory collaboration with a few musical geniuses of our time. 

Compass is the final product of the collaboration that was produced by Mexican Institute of Sound and Toy Selectah. The album, which will be released this summer on Mad Decent, features 90 artists including: Boy George, Kool A.D., Sly & Robbie, Toots & The Maytals, MC Lyte, Stereo MCs, Crystal Fighters, Gogol Bordello, and more.

Toy and Camilo recorded the album at Red Bull Studios locations in New York, Los Angeles, London, and São Paulo, in addition to recording stops in Kingston (Jamaica), Tokyo, Beijing, New Delhi, and Mexico’s Monterrey and Mexico City.

The Compass listening party showcased the musical brilliance, a Q&A, and an intimate performance from Toy and Camilo.
