Recently tastemakers, industry insiders, media, and mixologists alike gathered at the new trendy 'in the know' restaurant, Mr. Nice Guy- an Italian-influenced restaurant/lounge in West Hollywood from the h.wood.group creators of: Bootsy Bellows, Hooray Henry's, and SHOREbar, for a tasting of Ole Smoky Moonshine.

Moonshine has once been thought of as an illegal high-potent alcohol made in the back woods. During the event attendees were able to hear the back story of Ole Smoky Moonshine as well as taste savory bites straight from the kitchen of Mr.Nice Guy."We have an incredibly rich history with making liquor. It's an important part of who we are." Joe Baker, founder of Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine.

Bringing it to the forefront is Ole Smoky Moonshine, which was made legal almost five years ago. Made in Tennessee, Ole Smoky Moonshine comes in many variations and flavors. Original Moonshine, Harley Davidson Road House, and White Lightning are 100 proof and are mostly used for mixing. Other flavors such as: Lemon Drop Lightning, Strawberry Lightning, and Hunch Punch Lightning are 80 proof and best used for just that, an extra kick to your beverage. Apple Pie, Blackberry, Peach, and Moonshine Cherries are 40 proof and are made for 'easy sipping'.

Where its a back yard shindig or an upscale soiree, Ole' Smoky Moonshine is versatile and the perfect touch for any occasion.
