They’ve got a loyal fan base to show. With over 15 locations in California, Colorado, and Washington, the restaurant has seen impressive growth since its humble beginnings in Palo Alto, California. Patxi’s Pizza does it right! The menu is simple and offers the classics as well as a few interesting additions for the curious diner such as fold-over sandwiches, dessert pies, and even spicy Southwest mac and cheese. Although the real prize is the deep-dish pizzas, the appetizers were quite appealing.

The Spicy Artichoke Dip is a must-have. Composed of thick artichokes, roasted red peppers, jalapenos, parmesan and lemon – this velvety dip is a craveable snack that you’ll want all to yourself. The Burrata Bruschetta was also pleasantly delightful. The crisp tangy arugula complements the delicious ball of goodness, otherwise known as burrata. Roasted garlic and tomatoes seal in the flavors of this simple salad topped with pesto. Both of the aforementioned are served with a few crostini’s. Perfect for getting every bite!
The main event is undoubtedly the deep-dish pizza! A deep-dish pizza is the best of both worlds – a pizza and a casserole. Patxi’s takes this concept and elevates it by using quality ingredients, fresh produce, artisan meats, whole milk cheeses, and sauce and dough made from scratch. The ingredients are piled high between the dough and baked to absolute perfection. If you’re going to try a deep-dish pizza, it’s only right to get it in its truest form by ordering the “Old Chicago.” The “Old Chicago” includes: pepperoni, herbed ricotta, fennel sausage, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, kalamata olives, and topped with fresh basil. The consistency is near perfect and the ratio is pretty solid as well.
Their newest location in Porter Ranch recently opened at The Vineyards Shopping Mall. The restaurant has been working diligently amid the current climate to ensure all precautions are made for the safety of staff as well as diners. Regardless of your order, you can expect it will be top tier. Their consistency and innovative techniques is what makes Patxi’s a neighborhood staple.
