Hendrick's Gin Celebrates The Grand Garnisher - Trekking Across the Country One Cucumber at a Time
It was a joyous grand event like no other! Recently guests gathered at the famous Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel to see the Hendrick Gin's Grand Garnisher, in the flesh!
Hendricks Gin, which is also filtered with cucumber, is no stranger to providing a smooth cocktails time and time again. This event turned up the heat and gave the city something to talk about. The interactive event also had a booth where guests could grab a flower crown to be more festive.
Ambassador Mark Stoddard describes as “an eye-popping, wondrously strange cucumber slicing device that will travel the U.S. with the sole purpose of offering the most beautifully garnished Hendrick’s Gin cocktails ever to grace a glass.”
The Grand Garnisher travels at a whopping 25 mph, thanks to a number of things including a well-dressed man pedaling a large - wheeled bicycle. It's also 38 feet long and can slice up to 18 cucumbers per hour. “It’s not the most efficient way to garnish a cocktail,” explained Stoddard, “but we do believe it is the most spectacular.”
The Grand Garnisher has been revolutionizing the garnish game since June 14th, when it officially kicked off in New York City. The Grand Garnisher is making its way west! Hopefully you too can see it in action!
