This September will mark the anniversary for a great cause. The 20th Annual Music Festival for Brain Health will take place in Napa Valley September 13th and 14th.
Throughout the past years the National Institute of Mental Health has raised over $175 million, with last year raising approximately $2.8 million was raised to support the research and treatment of physiological brain disorders. This year the Staglin's are proud to announce surpassing the $200 million mark.
"This is one of the most exciting charity events, where wine, food, science, and talent is brought together over one weekend in Napa at the peak of harvest, said Garen Staglin. The time is now for brain health and as a country there is so much we can do."
This year things are running a little different from previous years. On Saturday, the Staglin Family will host the days activities on their vineyard in Rutherford, Napa Valley. On this day guests will be able dine on fine decadent cuisine prepared from chefs worldwide while tasting hard-to-find, "cult" wineries. In addition guests will also enjoy a performance from Vintage Trouble. On Sunday, September 14th the festivities will relocate to The Lincoln Theater in Yountville, Napa Valley. Sunday will play homage to a food truck extravaganza while enjoying your favorite wines and brews from local breweries and wineries. In the evening, guests will be able to enjoy a performance from multi-GRAMMY® nominated artist Jewel.
In addition, the Staglins are so pleased that their friend Congressman Patrick Kennedy is scheduled to attend again this year, along with Pete Chiarelli, General, US Army (retired) of the One Mind for Research Campaign. Below is a link to the great work that the Staglins are doing with Patrick and Pete:

"Every year attendees don't think we can do better, but we do. It's an accumulative, breakthrough learning experience, says Staglin. This event is incredible energy and builds a community- we simply display that it's okay to have fun while doing good."
If you are unable to physically attend the event this year, you will be able to view via live stream. Be sure to check the website for updates (20th Annual Music Festival for Brain Health)
