Recently a few iconic individuals gathered at Far Niente Winery in Napa Valley in order to honor the lovely Sophia Loren at Bella Italia!
Culinary luminaries in addition to: Robert Redford, Francis Ford Coppola and Eleanor Coppola, Whoopi Goldberg, Margit Mondavi, Jan and Maria Manetti Shrem, Mike Thompson and many more were in attendance. Guests enjoyed a performance by Ponti and the orchestra as they debuted Sinfonietta per Sofia by composer Daniel Brewbaker, which was written in honor of Loren's 80th birthday.
A Sophia Loren inspired dinner prepared by Piero Selvaggio of Valentino Santa Monica and chef Michael Chiarello of Bottega Napa Valley was served to those in attendance.
It was a lovely evening honoring a inspiring individual- Happy Birthday Sophia!
